My first reaction to hearing that the “new” Spidy was mixed was more like, “OMG, what happened to my Peter?! Tell me he’s not dead? No! No! No!” Because I’m attached to a comic-book character that doesn’t exist in real life, but if he did…Oh, yes! ^_^
Still, I think that it’s cool to pass on the Spiderman costume to someone else. I mean, there has been more than one Green Lantern (John Stewart). So why can’t there be more than one Spiderman? I just don’t get it why some people get bent out of shape over the most redundant things.
