Bake That, Linguist!

I have never wanted to ask this, but it looks like I have to, as I have no one else to ask. I’ve been on unemployment ever since late September after being laid off from my job (outsourcing) in August. I already had to fight with the unemployment office just to get my funds. It’s been a struggle, but I was doing well until this week.

Unfortunately, as of last week, I exhausted my funds and had to apply for federal extended benefits. To make a long story short, the unemployment office effed up my application; they approved me up for state extended benefits instead of federal benefits, so I did not receive a disbursement this week. I wasn’t even informed of this until I called today after checking my bank account and noticing the lack of a direct deposit. Supposedly, it will take them 2 weeks to correct this error, and even still, I have to have a phone interview to see if they even want to approve me for extended benefits. It may even take time after that, if I am approved, for me to receive all of my funds.

All that being said, I’m asking for help, as I have no money to pay my bills for this week and the next. I need $400 dollars to pay them all.
