You can talk about identity…? How we use language to define ourselves. How we define others. How society affects our perception of ourselves.I have to conduct a 30-minute sociolinguistic interview for one of my classes. We’re supposed to have a hypothetical research question that our interview can help us answer. But I can’t for the life of me begin to come up with a question. What sort of question can one interview help you answer?
I’m completely stuck for ideas. Linguists of tumblr, can you help me? How do I get started with this?
